Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athletically inclined child and found her passion to sprint at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks following her first attempt. Felix completed her high school year in 2003 and signed with Adidas a contract as professional athlete. In the following year, she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. Her first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record running 200m in 22.18 seconds. The youngest participant in the 200 meters during the World Championships that took place in Helsinki in 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 by beating long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in the Olympics during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo regularly placing in the top three of her competitions.
