Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an incredible Hollywood actor and writer Her talents have won her critical acclaim and recognition. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on the 3rd of December 1960. She was born in North Carolina. She is oldest among three siblings, born to Peter Moore Smith who was a paratrooper. Her mother Anne works as a psychotherapist. She's English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Moore was a struggle as her family was constantly relocated due to their dad's work. Moore began acting in plays at Frankfurt American High School when her family moved to Germany. When she completed the requirements for her B.F.A. in Theater at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to seek further training. A thesis on Theater. Following graduation, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985 she appeared on the screen as a character in The Edge of Night. She played the roles of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Changes the show that marked her debut. This show lasted until 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she made her cinematic debut in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that she later called a terrible low-budget film. She appeared in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both productions of Robert Altman. The latter production, for which she won several awards and critical acclaim. Her first lead role came in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg, who was director of Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, one of that year's biggest grossing films, had Moore cast as a lead actress. In 1999, she appeared in the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and earned a SAG nomination for her performance. The Hours starred Moore in 2002, and was nominated for the nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Her other films include The Forgotten 2004 Freedomland 2006. Shelter (2010), etc. She was also in Non-Stop (2014). Moore has been featured in many films and TV shows. The most recent of her starring roles is In 2022, When You Finish Securing the World. Her career has been established in Hollywood and is an author of children's books that is successful. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and became an N.Y.T. bestseller. Best-seller, it was also adapted into series and a music. Also in 2013, Moore wrote My Mother Is a Stranger. Moore lives a flamboyant life as a renowned writer and actress. In 1984 she married John Robin and in 1995 the couple divorced. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two kids together. Moore's entire life revolves around colleagues, friends and family.
