Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. She has two sisters, Kaitlyn Nash and Carolyn Nash. Kelly Nash is of English, Irish, Swedish, and Portuguese Ethnic group. Her great-grandfather was a Portuguese Immigrant, immigrated to America from Portugal.



 Kelly Nash was a huge fan of the Miami Marlins since she was young. Although Nash was always a fan of sports, she was always dreaming of being a news anchor. In 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications as well as Media Studies. In 2009, she received her degree from Clemson University with a Masters Degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for her services as a coach on the Sports Information Department's teams of Soccer and Baseball she was given full athletic scholarships by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host and hosts several shows on the network , including the evening highlights show, Quick Pitch. She also serves as an NHL Network Studio host, being featured on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. The NHL Network hired her to join the MLB Network in March 2015. In the year 2015 she began her contribution to the NHL Network.
